Description
This artwork could be influenced by Expressionism and Abstraction, which is the abstract transformation of the sunflower image. The image centers on a huge concentric-circle structure. The outermost ring depicts a texture of liquid spreading outward. It gradually decreases inward, forming a torn shape, reaching the inner circle at the end. The roughness of the canvas edge is very obvious, and the radial composition makes people resist looking at the inner circle. (Angela Tan '28)
