Description
"Hilton" is one of the products of the "Meta-Ceramic Art Series" project. This piece manifests the idea of "拿来主义"(Copinism) to imported culture. The spirit is that receivers of imported culture need the capability to distinguish the dross from marrow and take the marrow and discard the dross. In this piece, the artist graft Micky Mouse's head to a Chinese dragon's body, which is similar to another piece by the artist, "Nike". The prototype of this piece could be a vase from the Ming Dynasty. (Zhuocheng Jiang '26)
