Description

This painting series records a collective of children -- potentially siblings -- in their mundane lives. Several objects -- tables and chairs, for examples -- are incorporated to tell the setting and the activities which the figures engaged with. The figures are rendered rather crudely, with paints dappled promiscuously on them; however, the meticulous attention of light, shadow, and volumes on the figures give them the human forms and even a sculptural quality.
