Description
In this work, GUO Jin captured five children figures in a moment of jumping. Though no background -- floor level -- is given in this work to serve as a reference, the stretched arms and legs and their agape mouths disclosed their suspension in air. The delineation of the figures -- as GUO Jin practiced in his other works -- share a sculptural quality lent by great attention on volumetric rendering and an uncanny pigmentation. (Jerry Wu'23).
