Description

In this artwork, the artist explores the relationship between form and emptiness, proactivity and passivity, and change and continuation. These elements show the Daoist concept of yin and yang as a process of constant movement and renewal. White Clouds quote from Du Fu’s poem Ketan Shi: “a white cloud at one moment may look like a grey dog in the next.” Instead of using clear outlines to depict a natural form, the artist employs ink diffusion, creating a strong sense of movement and change. The image cannot be identified with any specific creature. Additionally, it lacks defined boundaries, like clouds that constantly flow and shift.
