Description
In "First Kiss", the artist depicts a quasi-biology-textbook-illustration, which blurs the boundaries between imagination and science. Against a saturated crimson background, microbial structures and protozoa are endowed with mammalian features, such as breasts and male reproductive organs. The interplay between cellular forms and animal characteristics evokes humanity’s intrinsic connection to the microscopic world and its broader ties to the cosmos. （Zhuocheng Jiang '26)
