Description

The sculptures of "Window No.2 and Window No.3," created between 1988 and 1993, share several defining characteristics. Both sculptures are made of the same material and viewed as geometric variations of a shape of donut. Their style is marked by smooth surfaces and organic curves, which contribute to a sense of fluidity and refinement. Despite the highly abstracted representation of a window, the fluent flow of lines and volume endow two minimalistic pieces with a sense of vitality. (Zhuocheng Jiang ‘26)
