Description
This installation was displayed in 1995 in what appears to be the Altes Museum in Berlin, Germany. The piece is made up of clothing drying racks packed together. Each rack hangs up what appears to be bags of white material pinned shut by clothespins. These white strips each have a black circle inside the layers of material. There are also seems to be thin, metallic copper-colored wire hanging from various points of the piece. The location of this piece seems particularly important, as the clothing racks are circumscribed by classical Greco-Roman statues lining the atrium space. (Nicole Wang '26).
