Description
This slide depicts an installation piece made by Yuan Shun in 1995. By this time, the artist had been working internationally for multiple years, presenting his artwork between China, Poland and Germany, where he primarily resides after leaving Shanghai. The artwork shows multiple large stones impaled onto black screens set up along wooden hardwood floors. The walls in which the black rectangular objects are positioned against are left a blank white. This piece seems to be an installation piece. (Nicole Wang '26).
