This painting depicts two 热水瓶 or thermoses in the artist's characteristic bold brushstrokes and multicolor shadowing. This is not the only painting the artist has made of thermoses. She often is drawn towards everyday objects and the strength they represent, such as faucets, water bottles, cars, jugs, etc... (Nicole Wang '26).
