Description

The main subject of this work seem to be a conventional Chinese "mountain and water"painting from antiquity -- deducted from the merely legible mountains at the bottom right corner of the canvas, where the jade-green and olive-green interacts. The subject of this painting is abstracted rather than concrete; the abstractions is brought further by the disturbed composition by the interlocking "strips" layered upon the painting(s). The "strips" seem to carry in themselves yet another image. (Jerry Wu'23).
