Sept. 8, 1864
My dear [Lord],
I hear that there is some hope of your visiting [Norfolk] this Autumn. The meeting of the Ch: Min. Society, the [B?] + Fr. Bible brief & the [Jesus’] Society will be held, God willing, on Tuesday 27, Wed. 28, Thursday 29th of [??].
It would be a great pleasure to myself and very many others if [you] would come to [us] at Norwick Monday Sept. 26th and remain till Friday 30th. I suspect the B. of [??] to be with are of other friends who would be glad of an opportunity of meeting you.
We have had great [?] in [the] Diocese since you were last with us. [Of]the unusual especially of dear [W. Taey] and [W.S.] Cunningham has made a blank [?], which only their [?] & ours can fill up.
May He bring you [?], if He [permits] you to come, in the followers of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
