Sir,
We duly recieved [sic] your esteemed letter of Nov, 29, 1852.
I beg you will accept herewith an archeological treatise entitled “Sur la construction des salles dites des géants par S.M. le Roi Frédéric VII de Danemark” and my Ethnographical Report on the Cabinet of American Antiquities of Copenhagen.”
If it should so happen that you take an interest in the matters which form the scope of our exertions, it will give me pleasure to propose you for being elected a Fellow of our Society, and should the proposal meet your approbation, we beg to be favored with your full name with the view to the preparation of the Diploma.
