Abstract
This project explores the ways Palestinian feminist and LGBTQ organizations are impacted by and resist Israeli gendered representations. Focusing primarily on the 'Brand Israel' campaign, this research assesses the nature and motives of these representations in light of Israeli occupation, colonialism, and apartheid. The paper explores the impact of these gendered representations on Palestinian gender-based organizations. It highlights the ways Palestinian activists resist and respond to Israeli portrayals of them and their movements.
