Abstract

Angel Baby is about weird little girls who grow up to be strange young women. It is about alienation. It is about performance, and those who seek attention as a substitute for affection. It is about the roles we play. It is about those who feel that all the world’s a stage and that they are constantly auditioning for the part of “person who is loved” but are never cast. It is about obsession and perception. It is about choosing to laugh when you’d rather cry.
