Dear Brother:
You will be gratified to learn that my health is improving. The pains in my broken Ribs and dislocated and lacerated arm are not accute: and the comforts fo sleep are not altogether denied me. I can repose on a bed “flat on my back for an hour but longer than that it becomes very painful to me. I must be hoisted up and again seated in my chair of state.
I think of you most constantly. Do you ever think of me? I know you do. What will become the Kenyon Township Bill?
Do write me your faithful and loving Brother.
Phi’r Chase
