My Dear Wife
I have been writing to others – while you are neglected.
I paid yesterday the 15th the following sums.
Fare of Don Ysla to [Cambridge] $3.50
“ “ John Blackburn 1.75
Sent to Col. Converse on acct. 21.00
Paid in cash to John Blackburn 5.00
Put the above down in my book.
Mr & Mrs Sims are very kind to me here I spent the last evening with them & Mrs Wheat: I am sorry to find us letters from you here. I go soon for Wash’n
