Mt. Vernon 10. Augt 1827
My dear Wife:
I am literally overwhelmed with care and troubles but God supports me under it & then thanks be to his holy name!
This morning the horse we had of Mr. Wilson $60 died we think of the [botts]. This had deranged our business exceedingly.
I send you a draft of 100$. Henry is well. All well in NYork, heard this day. Love to the Children & all. The walls go up fast.
