To all whom it may concern, this may certify that the Bearer hereof the Rev. Intrepid Morse, Deacon, our well-beloved brother in Christ being of fair character and regular standing trusty and well informed in the duties pertaining to his office is authorized, and We do, by these presents, authorize him, according to the Canons and Rubricks of our Church to preach, to administer the Holy Sacrament of [B.tism] and to organize parishes in this our Diocese of Ohio in [any] place or places within the p[?] of the same where his services may be regularly required.
Given under our hand and seal at Worthington County of Franklin State of Ohio, this the sixteenth day of Mar: in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen and in the first of our Consecration
