Right Revd. and D. Sir
I am truly sorry that we are unable, on account of some family circumstances to accept your very kind offer to spend an hour with us on either Wednesday or Friday morning of the present week. Will you pardon me if I say that after the next fortnight, should it then be convenient to you, we should feel ourselves highly honoured and should have the most sincere gratification in receiving you at this place. In the mean time permit me to say that I will take some early opportunity for calling at the office of Mr. Pratt in Salisbury square, to leave there my subscription to the Ohio cause, but I very earnestly request that if it should be at any time necessary that the list of subscriptions should appear mine should be anonymous.
With very sincere and affectionate respect, believe me to be
Right Revd. & Dear Sir
most faithfully yours
Mr. Wilson
