Dear Brother,
You see by the within that I have left to be paid at your order $200 which you can draw for at your pleasure which I hope will be soon. But take care that you indorse the same with your own signature else it will not be paid. Put it to any use you please for the boys till much times as it becomes your due for Philander Board and education according to my [??]. We are now on the wing to sail for [?] tomorrow morning; of course I can but a few words with you. I pray for your [?] and that of my dear boys--and hope you and they will not [?] to offer up to him who governs all things your servant [?] for our preservation on the great waters.
