Revd Sir.
I was favored with your letter & the inclosure from W. Simeon this morning. It w’d have given me great pleasure to be the bearer of our little contributions in aid of the Churches abroad, but during W. Marsh’s absence it will be impossible on Sunday. The time too is short. We are a poor people with many calls on their liberality.
I have no doubt W. Marsh, on his return, will make the most of his influence, on your behalf; and contrive to have the amount collected, conveyed to you.
Wishing you abundant success
