Mr. Marriott, encouraged by what Mr. Wheaton told him yesterday, has taken the liberty of asking the favor of Bishop Chase’s company at dinner to-morrow at five. Mr. M. hopes Mr. W. and Dr. Gaskin will be able to meet the Bishop, and begs to hear from him as soon as convenient, that he may send to those Gentlemen.
