We enclose a letter to you address from Lord Kenyon, by whom through an [house] in [Sporl] we have been requested to transmit you £100 statuary; which we now do in the enclo[sed] certificate of deposit No. 73 Merchants Bank [p] $484.44 say Four hundred and Eighty four 44/100 dollars being £100 [sty] with Exchange 9%. We shall be obliged by your acknowledging receipt of the same--
