The collection contains materials that depict a number of topics that may be difficult for viewers to engage with, including: antisemitic descriptions, caricatures, and representation of Jewish people; Nazi imagery and ideology; descriptions and images of German ghettos; graphic images of the violence of the Holocaust; and the creation of the State of Israel. For more information, see our policy page.
Description
Blue booklet titled “WHY WE CHRISTIANS SHOULD OPPOSE THE JEWS” in bold black print near top, by Dr. P.E. Lalanne, 16 pages.
Information Provided by Michael D. Bulmash:
Lalanne was a right-wing Canadian gynecologist, an antisemite and fascist who referred to Jews as “vipers” who plotted to build a world-wide government through unfair banking practices, Communism, etc. He was a member of Adrien Arcand’s Canadian fascist Parti National Social Chrétien which views Canada as a preserve for a white race, thus rejecting semites, blacks, and asians. Indeed, PNSC advocated for the deportation of Canadian Jews, perhaps inspired by Hitler’s early notion of deporting the Jews of Germany to Madagascar.
