Description

This is a scripted version of an interview with Ai Weiwei in both Chinese and English. In this interview, he talks about his experience of exile from China and identifies himself as a high-end refugee. He also points out that Hong Kong, as an asylum for refugees from China for various reasons, has a special connection with him. In addition, he discusses the subtle dynamics between his humanitarian focus and his artistic expression. (Zhuocheng '26)
