Correspondence
Description
This letter is written by Graham Marks, an American ceramic artist, in Chinese. In this letter, he started by talking about New York's government's arbitrary decision on nuclear pollution disposal, which inspired Marks to do something that actually benefits the commons. Then, he mentioned his antipathy to the art markets in the U.S. He realized that he was simply making toys for the rich, which are collected in a similar way that hunters collect prey's skulls. As a result, he abandoned art and turned into learning Zhenjiu (Acupuncture). (Zhuocheng Jiang '26)
