Description
In this performance series, the artist places his naked body within a wide range of settings—from water, grasslands, wilderness, and frozen lakes to piles of cattle skulls and construction sites. The artwork is a contemporary translation of the traditional Chinese philosophy of "the unity of heaven and humanity 天人合一 ". Through the postures of his body, the artist echoes the forms of heaven and earth, dissolving the dualistic opposition between subject and object. (Angela '28)
