Description
The artist placed bamboo baskets along a bank of Houhai lake. Rice paper line the rims of one group of baskets. All baskets are lined with cement to make them water-tight, and then filled with water. Houhai lake is the largest of three that make up the Shichahai, a group of three of the northernmost lakes in central Beijing. This work is one of the artist's site-specific installations.
