Description
The artist has described this piece as a drawing. In the image, figures walk in procession in opposite right and left directions. They appear to be holding some sort of ladder or board. Their heads are obscured by hats made of leaves or straw. The figures are schematized and their bodies are outlined in black ink, contrasting them against the red background.
