In 1994, the "Red, Yellow, Blue, Green" series signaled the artist’s transition into a new phase of pure abstraction art. This archive preserves the works "94' Yellow" and "94' green". These two paintings presents floating marine-inspired or microorganism forms, assembled from partial motifs of jellyfish, corals, and fish. None of these figures appear as complete. but their fragmentary presence generates a paradoxical sense of harmony and order. This is attributed to the lawful and even composition of two paintings. The artist achieves a visual rhythm that suggests both incompleteness and unity, underscoring abstraction’s capacity to evoke organic vitality. (Zhuocheng Jiang '26)
