Description
The "Partner" is a work made in the period when he emigrated to Austria. Sexuality was the major theme in the early stage of his career. His art was once characterized by bold representations of heterosexuality. A subtle representation of sex activity in his work is made here in stone form. Meanwhile, the white and black marbles also resemble a distorted and stretched symbol of Yin and Yang. (Zhuocheng Jiang '26)
