Description
This series titled 'Another Kind of Contact' was painted in 1995. They depict disjointed body parts in contact with one another. The painted feet and legs seem to be broken off at the bone, which juts out of the flesh and resembles ladders. Human figures can be seen dispersed across this series, often holding something or clinging onto a metal structure. This might imply feelings of loneliness and solitude. The background consists of shades of blue and green and white which provide stark contrast to the bloodied red of the body parts. (Nicole Wang '26).
