Description
A wooden chair has faux leather covered on its seat and back. The wood is reddish-brown in color, and has small cracks on the edges. The leather of the chair’s back area is peeled up at its top left corner. An oil-painting in the center， seemingly on the leather surface rather than a separate canvas, portrays a young lady being embraced by a man from the back. She looks calm, with eyes closed and one hand reaches to the man’s face. There are pink, gray, blue and white brushstrokes applied to this painting. (Yifan Shang ‘25)
