Description
This photograph captures a cubical bird cage that is situated in rockery in a Chinese garden. A gramophone made of brass and wood is placed inside the cage, in which an assumption -- it would play sound of birds of four seasons, indicated by the title -- could be made. To the front, there is a small metal lock. One rolling handle connected to the gramophone could be seen on the right-handside of this cage. (Yifan Shang ‘25)
