Description
The artist's compilation of sculptures includes large, black spheres grouped together and in juxtaposition with long, oblong objects. The dichotomy of the contrasting shapes might suggest a conversation about sex, male and female anatomy, and the question of womanhood in a patriarchal world. Upon closer look, the material of the pieces appear to be a soft rubber or latex, similar to that of a beach ball. The roundness of the shapes, then, depends on the pressure of the air that fills them. Some photographs of this piece show people among the artwork, suggesting that the piece is interactive.
