Description
In this work, CHEN YanYIn "had built a bed made of a thousand red roses, each connected to a bottle with plastic intravenous drip tubes." In a conversation between YanYin and Monica Dematté, the artist implies that the work speaks for her suddenly realized despair that love -- seeming a potent sentiment -- can be dilapidated gradually by the trivial discrepancies a couple has in a romantic relationship.
