Description
This huge poster is formed by twenty newspapers stitched together. The mediums applied were color pencil, oil painting, collage, and ink painting. The work imitates the big-character poster style(dazibao), which commonly appears during the Chinese Culture Revolution, mixing elements of paintings from the Louvre. Sentences on the poster employs a lot of critical political language. (Hao Yang’25)
