Description
The subject looms in the background of this work seems to be the Tian'an Men Square in Beijing, China. Crowded before the square is an uniformly dressed population. The unaccountable figures hold their right hands slightly above their heads; clenched in their hands seem to be object in red, though given the dissolution of paint, we cannot tell what exactly this is. Superimposed on the background painting are two figures exercising (perhaps Tai'ji); their presences are only denoted by a few painted striped. (Jerry Wu'23).
