Description
In what seems like a vacant storage space of Shanghai Children's Library -- we can see planks and boards are heaped in the room's corners -- SHI placed a camera against one corner, which records the layered planks. Immediately next to the camera is a monitor, of which reflects the instantaneous recordings from the camera. The artistic "invasion" of a space, and the "appropriation" of some of the place's defining properties, might sum up the work's central idea. (Jerry Wu'23).
