Description
The main subject of the work seems to be a toddler with heavy make-ups (especially on his/her cheek), whose face and right arm centralize the composition. Locked in the embracing arms of the child seem to be a fish, of which is disproportionately large relative to its beholder. Behind the protagonist loons another female figure aging from adolescent to young adult. The second figure is only shown of her head and upper torso. In the background of the figures arrayed repeated triangular structures in blue -- almost resembling convoluted mountains layered in pattern. The entire composition of the work is disturbed by numerous horizontal painted strips, of which based on continuity of colors, are punctuated into five columns vertically. (Jerry Wu'23).
