Description

The 'Cookingpot' installation (London, 1996) included a series of ceramic pieces that feature representations of the body, playing with the already anthropomorphic vocabulary of ceramics. The 'legs' of each pot playfully recall breasts, the standing 'feet' resembling nipples. The pots also include allusions to male physiognomy. The artist included a pot that has a phallic curved handle and breast-like legs. (Nicole Wang '26).
