Description

For this artwork, the artist designed a teapot implicates both male and female sexuality. The lid of the teapot, for example, takes the form of female human breast; the handle may suggest a flaccid phallus; and the spout an erect phallus. The water ejecting out of the teapot spout may be suggesting ejaculation. (Qiu, Kries and more, Chinese Gate (catalogue), 1994, available on Zhou Document) (Nicole Wang '26).
