Description
This work is an assemblage of baby-shaped figurines (slightly oversized an authentic new-born) produced by wax; most of the figurines heaps upon each others densely, with a few exceptions suspending above the stacks. Enclosed around the "stack" is a plastic coat, translucent enough to allow light and vision to penetrate through. Art historian YI states that Fragile Products refracts the very vulnerability of human beings, regardless of age (infant or seniors); the fragility of the wax materiality is telling of the theme JIANG Jie tried hard to convey.
