Abstract
Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 - 43 BCE), prominent Roman statesman and writer, is survived by over 800 letters to various addressees. This project focuses on those letters, including many of the over 400 of which are addressed to his close friend Atticus, that contain Greek quotations or paraphrases from drama, epic, philosophy, and proverbs.
