View of San Juan de los Reyes, Toledo. The church and monastery, begun in 1477 and completed in 1504, mostly under the direction of the architect Juan Guas, was originally planned to contain the tombs of the monarchs whose marriage unified Spain, Isabel of Castile/Leon and Fernando of Aragon.
