Description
Real Monasterio de Armenteira, rose window. First built by the Cistericans ca.1160 with their usual ban on ormentation. The style is Romanesque-Gothic. The church has been left fairly well in its original state except for the modern altar, but the cloister was completely redone in the 18th century and further restored in the 20th by a Pontevedra group.
