Description
Detail of left archivolt with two saddled horses without riders. Known simply as ""La Corticela,"" existed in close proximity to the location of the present 11th-century Cathedral. It was founded by Bishop Sisnando I in the late 9th century. Later it became incorporated into the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
