Dear Bishop:
Read the enclosed from Mr. Newton + let me know your thoughts before I answer it.
Hartley has written for permission to be ordained in Brooklyn by Bp. Potter - I have answered that I am to be there the first week in May, if he does not wish to part sooner. F[?] writes for the [?] of Grace Ch. saying the Ch. is free from debt - 4000 raised in cash + 6000 given by Mr. Carter is debt to him. He wants it done on E. Sunday, which cannot be. B[?] I have written that I will try between you + me to [?] on a day. HOw will ti be with your arrangement as to do [?] it? Answer as soon as you can
