My dear Mr. Chase,
I enclose a rough copy of the Pastoral Letter--correct but not yet made up for the pamphlet. I have sent a s[imilar] copy to the President. I hope you are quite re[?]

I shall probably see you this week. I shall direct about 50 copies of the Letter sent in three or four parcels to you by mail, that I may get them when I get them. Please have them taken to your house.
